Country High Point #2 – England – Scafell Pike (978m)

My 2nd country highpoint was England, this was also part of my National 3 Peaks Challenge and it was the first time I had climbed Scafell Pike since I was a little scally teenager, who was starting to love the outdoors.

Route Overview

Starting at Wasdale Car Park, I really enjoyed this one having not done it since I was a kid, it brought back some great memories.

Although I’ll have to dig deeper into the memory bank as I’m pretty sure I didn’t start from this route back in the day.

Plenty of parking at the start of the route, fairly straight forward with some steeper sections on the final push so take extra care.
