Country High Point #6 – Luxembourg – Kneiff (560m)

Country high point 6 was our final stop on this 36 hour out of the blue European tour. Kneiff in Luxembourg was basically on a narrow road off of the main road, in the middle of the countryside with no one else about.

I shit you not, I drove right up next to the high point, which was marked with a concrete slab and I could step outside of the car door and be the highest person in Luxembourg. Love it.

This was also a new country for both myself and Jo, neither of us had been to Luxembourg before so ticking off this high point en-route to exploring the city, topped off a fun day.

Found in the Oesling region, surrounded by hills, some forests and some amazing hidden away castles, we were about 25 minutes away from Luxembourg City, the capital.

Route Overview

As above, drove straight to the point as it’s on an actual road, parked up and walked over to the high point.

Just a casual high point in the middle of a field, not much more to say than that really.

Country high point number 6 boxed off.

Then onto Luxembourg City for some food and to watch the footy (Euro 2024 was right in the mixer while we were away)
