Country High Point #1 – Scotland – Ben Nevis (1345m)

My 1st country highpoint was Scotland, this was part of my National 3 Peaks Challenge and it was the first time I had climbed Ben Nevis.

I won’t go into major detail on this one having covered it above, but an amazing weekend overall.

You can see the route information and hiking data below.

A nice out and back route and not too difficult overall.

Route Overview

Starting at the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel, this was a straight forward out and back and a really enjoyable hike.

The highest point of Scotland and the UK. Tick tick.

The rocky plateau looking out at The Grampian Mountains
Views of Fort William on the descent back!
